Harvest is nearing completion in southeast Saskatchewan.
The regional crop specialist in Weyburn, Sherri Roberts, says the return to milder weather has allowed farmers to resume combining.
She estimates harvest at 90 to 95 percent complete in the southeast.
She says farmers have been back on the combines for several days.
Roberts says later harvested crops will likely see some downgrading from the wet weather.
She says many farmers were happy with this year’s production but sporadic rainfall had an impact on yields.
Roberts expects harvest to wrap up in a week to 10 days in southeast Saskatchewan.
