A 29-year-old Regina man is facing drug related offences after police learned he attempted to smuggle drugs into the Regina Correctional Centre.
Jordan Lee Taypotat turned himself into police for missing a court date early Wednesday morning.
While being taken into custody, officers learned Taypotat was hiding meth, morphine, and marijuana, as well as concerta, a stimulant used to treat ADHD inside his body.
He was taken to hospital where the drugs were removed from his body.
Taypotat was in court Thursday facing possession and trafficking charges, along with breach of undertaking.
