Regina police continue looking for a woman who hasn’t been seen since September 8 with their search now extending to Saskatoon, Alberta and B.C.
Forty-year-old Garneil Quewezance, was last seen in the Cathedral area on the 2200 block of Garnet Street getting into a car with someone. She was not reported missing to Regina police until October 2.
Police do not believe Quewezance has become a victim of foul play, but her family says it is unusual to have not heard from her in such a long time. They add they do not know why investigators think she could be in B.C., but there is a chance she is there.
Quewezance is described as Indigenous, 5-foot-6, 150 lbs., medium build with long auburn hair and green eyes. She has numerous tattoos including a happy face on her upper left arm, names on her left forearm and roses on her right upper arm.
