A province wide campaign is on to keep people warm throughout the winter.
The Chiropractors Association of Saskatchewan has joined forces with the Salvation Army for the third Annual Toasty Toes Sock Drive and are looking to raise 15,000 pairs.
“These socks are then donated by the Salvation Army to various shelters and programs across the province,” said the Chiropractors’ Executive Director Tracy Bertram. “They really benefit those who are in need.”
Over the past two years, over 33,000 pairs have been raised.
“It’s something we usually don’t think of to donate,” she said. “It’s one of those unmet needs that we’ve kinda found as a good opportunity to fill.”
Donations can be made at chiropractors clinics and offices throughout Saskatchewan until November 23rd.
