Rotating strikes are underway Monday morning by the union which represents over 50-thousand Canada Post employees.
Union representatives gave notice late last week that if a new deal was not reached by midnight Monday, job action would be taken.
Right now striking is underway in Halifax, Windsor, Ontario, Edmonton and Victoria.
CUPW started 24-hour rotating strikes in Victoria, Edmonton, Windsor & Halifax after 12:01 am local time today. In those areas, mail/parcels won’t be delivered/picked up. We’re accepting & delivering mail/parcels everywhere else: https://t.co/bxq6HNAfDJ

Mail will still be delivered to those cities, but it will be delayed for an undetermined amount of time.
No word on when striking will happen in Regina.
More to come.
