NDP leader Ryan kicked off debate in the Saskatchewan legislature Thursday by calling on the SaskParty government to take steps to improve the economy.
Meili calls the imposition of 6 percent PST on construction labour as a job killing tax and wants it to be removed.
Trade minister Jeremy Harrison says the SaskParty government has spent the last decade taking major steps to expand the economy.
He says this province has the second best job creation record in Canada, pointing to an increase of 28 hundred jobs in this province in the past year.
He added the NDP had a dismal job creation record.
