Operation Red Nose is returning for it’s 10th year of service in Saskatchewan.
The campaign provides safe rides home for those who don’t feel fit to drive.
“This just emphasizes the importance of finding a safe ride home,” said Superintendent Darcy Koch with Regina Police Service. “It gives you the option. You can make that conscious decision because it’s there for you.”
Service will be provided in Regina, Saskatoon, Yorkton, the Battlefords and Prince Albert. Those who require can call a number and one of the program volunteers will drive you home. The Red Nose App will also allow users to access the service in both English and French.
The campaign kicks off November 30th and runs throughout December. Those looking to volunteer can fill out forms found on the Operation Red Nose website.
