It’s going to be a busy weekend at the Evraz Place grounds, especially on Sunday.
Remembrance Day ceremonies, the Our Best to You craft sale, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders playoff game are all happening on Sunday, making for an interesting parking situation.
Communications Manager with Evraz Place Shalyn Kivela said the parking stalls will be in high demand.
“Because we only have approximately 3500 parking spots on our property, we do expect those parking spots to be in high demand,” Kivela said. “If people are going to be visiting us on the 11th, we encourage people to arrive early, please be patient and expect delays.”
Kivela said certain lots are designated for specific events.
“So if you’re coming to the Our Best to You craft sale, we do have some lots designated on the west side of our property, just outside of Canada Centre and International Trade Centre,” Kivela said. “If you’re coming for the Remembrance day ceremony, we have designated areas for those people as well, just to the south of the Brandt Centre.”
Kivela adds those attending the Rider game should utilize transit service or get dropped off at the game if possible, though some parking is available on the grounds.
