If the Saskatchewan Roughriders are to advance to the Western Final in Calgary November 18, they will have to apparently do it with their back-up quarterback running the offense.
TSN’s Dave Naylor is reporting Zach Collaros will not be in uniform Sunday afternoon at Mosaic Stadium when the Riders and Bombers meet in a 3:30 kickoff meaning Brandon Bridge (pictured) will get the call.

The Riders had been tight-lipped about Collaros’ status all week with head coach Chris Jones remaining non-committal Saturday.
“We’re just preparing two quarterbacks to play because that way if you need one or the other, you’ve got them,” Jones said.

Collaros was also non-committal when talking to reporters Saturday saying he knew whether or not he was going to play, but it was decided that information should not be divulged.
Bridge completed 82 of 131 passes on the season for 801 yards with three interceptions and one touchdown. The Riders were 2-2 in games he started.
