Two major road construction projects in Regina are over.
On Tuesday. the city announced the Ring Road/Victoria Avenue on/off ramps rehabilitation project is now complete and that traffic can flow on those ramps as normal.
With the construction project over, it also means the north service road between Oxford and Rupert Streets have been re-0pened.
That road was closed because of the work being done on the ramps.
In addition, the work to realign Eastgate Drive is now complete. This project was done to improve safety at the intersection of Coleman Crescent and Eastgate Drive while insuring continued access to local businesses and neighbourhoods in the area. This recommended option reflects input from extensive public consultations with area residents and business owners.
Westbound drivers on Victoria Avenue will notice improved traffic flow with the new right-in/right-out access to/from Eastgate Drive. The additional westbound lane that has been restricted on Victoria Avenue will also be opened.
