A 37-year-old man and 36-year-old woman are facing theft and possession charges after Regina Police recovered a stolen vehicle with what’s believed to be fentanyl inside it.
On Sunday an off duty officer spotted the stolen vehicle parked on the 6100 block of Rochdale Boulevard.
While the two suspects were being taken into custody, police also discovered a substance believed to be fentanyl and a significant amount of stolen property in relation to two break and enters that occurred on November 9th.
Thirty-seven-year-old Mark Popowich has been charged with two counts of break enter and commit, and possession charges over and under five-thousand-dollars.
Thirty-six-year-old Crystal Tumak is facing similar charges and was also charged with possession of a scheduled substance.
Both were in court Tuesday morning.
