Swift Current RCMP are looking for a 26-year-old man who might be able to give them some information as to why a truck was found partially submerged in a creek that runs through the city.
Just before 6 AM, police got a call about the truck in the water. It appeared to be heading south when it went off the road, went through a guardrail and into the water.
A driver could not be found, but the owner of the truck was found and it was confirmed he wasn’t behind the wheel when the crash happened.
Police are now looking for Colton Koop as he may have been using the vehicle. They would like to talk to him to see if he knows just how the truck ended up in the creek.
Anyone with information is asked to call Swift Current RCMP or their nearest police force.
