Welcome to Regina, it’s Agribition time.
What a busy week in store. And you’ll want a map or the app! New buildings have given organizers a great opportunity to move things around and create a different flow. Catching transportation to Evraz Place might just be the best way of getting to the show. Then once there, just be patient when your trailing kids, seniors and visitors that are just looking around!
Lewis and Evans start the broadcast day at McDougall Auctions in the Affinity EventPlex and then we move out from there. I’m really looking forward to spending time with Young’s Equipment. They are raising money for STARS in addition to showing off the latest in technology. The arenas on the East part of the complex will be busy as kids from local schools wander around collecting pens and pamphlets.
Later in the week, find me at SaskMilk – the milking demo area in Canada Center. I can’t wait. I have allergies, I also have a mask I will wear if I need to. Considering I still feel unwell with a cold, the mask might just be the way to go. I hope to get my hands dirty with being able to milk one of the cows. Farm kids may have to milk a cow, but that cow probably is a range cow not one that is a big time dairy producer.
Agribition is more than an agricultural show, it’s a reunion of sort. That pre-Christmas catch-up. It’s a time to see the babies growing up. Your friends that you knew as kids are older! Oh and not as crazy as we once where. Ah the memories. Time to make some more!
