One of the world’s largest livestock shows opens Monday at Evraz Place in Regina.
Canadian Western Agribition CEO Chris Lane said the show attracts visitors from as far away as China, South America and Africa to see the latest in livestock genetics and farm production methods.
“We have the world’s premier marketplace for cattle quality and breeding stock genetics, especially for countries that are looking to up their own game when it comes to the quality of domestic cow herds, whether that’s for beef production or their own export,” Lane said.
Lane said more than one thousand people from 80 countries will be among the 120-thousand visitors this week to Agribition.
The show opens Monday and wraps up Saturday.
