Garth Brooks started his second week at number 1 with a song that was written and originally performed by Billy Joel. “Shameless” became his seventh number 1.
Charlie Rich Reach the top of the country charts on November 24th, 1973 with “The Most Beautiful Girl.” He also went to number 1 on the pop charts with that song.
