The NDP is pushing for improved highway safety across Saskatchewan.
Opposition leader Ryan Meili raised concern about one specific location, the intersection where a tragic accident claimed 16 lives of the Humboldt hockey team, highway 35 and 335, last April.
Meili says councillors in the local RM have called for rumble strips to be installed at the intersection.
Highways minister Lori Carr says an independent study is underway into the intersection where the tragic accident occurred.
She says the final results should be available and the province will implement changes based on the study.
