A carolling troupe, decked out in the holiday best, sang Christmas tunes with a twist, each of them telling a cautionary tale of the dangers of impaired driving.
Tyler McMurchy, spokesman for the insurance authority, said at this time of year, it’s vital to keep your eyes on the roads.
“We understand that people are going to spending time with family, friends and loved ones and we want to make sure that the only knocks on the door they’re going to get is from family and friends bearing gifts and good tidings.”
This is also a more notable Christmas, as this is the first time marijuana will be dealt with.
McMurchy notes law enforcement will be keeping a vigilant eye out.
“Throughout the year, police are very focused on catching impaired drivers.”
