An ordered inquest into the October 2017 death of Brydon Whitstone starts on Monday.
The 22 year old Whitstone was shot in October 2017 following a police chase in North Battleford.

The Ministry of Justice says the goal of the inquest is to determine the manner of death and the cause of death. An independent jury will sit and make recommendations.
The Saskatchewan RCMP says it is unable to answer any questions or provide comments on the evidence or testimony while the inquest is sitting to protect the integrity of the process. RCMP says it will speak after the inquest has ended to address any public concerns.
The inquest is scheduled to run from Monday to Friday in Battleford.
