Canadian Western Agribition is reporting a banner year for attendance at last month’s show in Regina.
C.E.O. Chris Lane says the number of visitors reached almost 127-thousand people, the best in recent years.
He says new programs were factors in expanded attendance.
Lane says highlights include more than 11 hundred international visitors from 75 countries and over 94 hundred students and teachers in the Agribition education program.
Other highlights include 468 trade show exhibits, over 25 thousand attending the rodeo, jousting and cabaret and 633 free admission for Armed Forces and First Responders.
