Regina Police have charged an 18-year-old and 21-year-old man with possession of stolen property, theft and firearm offences, after an incident Sunday night.
Just before 8:00 p.m. police were called to a department store in the city’s east end for a report of shoplifting.
When police arrived the store’s security had arrested the two suspects, subsequent searches revealed stolen items, along a firearm and ammunition.
Eighteen-year-old Dorian Baker has been charged with theft under five-thousand dollars, Possession of stolen property, possession of break and enter tools and breach.
Twenty-one-year-old Braiden Hotomani was charged with offenses that include theft under five-thousand dollars, careless use of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
Both men were in court on Monday.
