Two Regina residents are facing multiple charges in relation to a firearms incident in the city’s south end.
At about 2:00 AM on Saturday morning, Regina Police observed a suspicious vehicle on the 3800 block of Albert street.
Upon search of the vehicle, police found drugs, firearms and ammunition. A man and a woman were arrested, while another man was released without charges.
33 year-old Justin Thompson is facing 16 charges, including three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition, two counts of careless use of a firearm, and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, while 25 year-old Tawnya Deal is facing two counts of possession of a scheduled substance, and failure to comply.
