I just don’t understand what compels a person to post a 10 word comment on how bad the refereeing is in a certain sports game. Why would someone think that other people out there actually care about something like that? Why would someone feel the need to let everyone else know about a restaurant or hotel they just checked in to? “Leafs are looking good tonight.” Well, if you’re a Leafs fan, you already know that. If you’re not, you really don’t care how the Leafs are doing!
Some people put their whole lives on Facebook, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Some of the stuff I read blows me away!
It’s like people just can’t wait to get to their computers to sit down and let everyone know what happened during their day. Do those people think that others are racing to their computers just to log on and read about that days activities?
I’ve also come to the conclusion that a lot of Facebook users might just have dropped out of school at an early age. It’s either that or they completely skipped every English class they were scheduled to go to.
People just don’t seem to understand the certain spelling and meanings of the most common words. It seems some people haven’t been schooled in the differences between certain words like “too” and “to.” Or, “your” and “you’re.” The worst mishmash involves the words “there,” “their,” and “they’re.” I guarantee that as you scroll Facebook today, you’ll find all of these words misused in many posts.
I will post daily on our 620 CKRM Facebook page, but very seldom do I even visit my own Facebook page, let alone post anything on it.
There’s my morning rant. I could have posted this on Facebook, but I chose not to!
