One man is suffering minor burns after a house fire Tuesday night.
Regina Fire was called to a home 1658 Ottawa Street at about 10:30pm, and had the blaze under control about 25 minutes later.
Crews say the fire was contained to the basement and the extent of the damage is not yet known.
One man was home at the time of the fire and was able to get out before crews arrived. He was taken to hospital for minor burns on his foot and smoke inhalation .
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
This was the second house fire Tuesday, as crews also fought a blaze on the 4700 block of 4th Avenue that sent three people to the hospital.
