A 20-year old Preeceville man will be in a Yorkton courtroom Monday facing charges after an alleged sexual assault and break-and-enter in the town of Preeceville over a year ago.
On December 18, 2017, a masked man entered a home in the town and sexually assaulted a woman while armed with a gun. The woman’s child was inside the home at the time.
The RCMP’s initial investigation led to a different man from Preeceville being arrested, but he was cleared a few months later when DNA evidence exonerated him.
Shawn Pasiechnik is facing a number of charges including sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and pointing a firearm.
