Justin Trudeau is headed to Regina.
The Prime Minister will be taking part in a town hall meeting Thursday night at the University of Regina and some events on Friday.
Regina will be the first stop on a Canadian tour being made by Trudeau.
His stop in Regina will come just over a week after Conservative leader Andrew Scheer spoke out against the carbon tax while at a Giant Tiger store in the city.
Trudeau’s popularity in Saskatchewan has taken a hit over his stance to impose a carbon tax in Saskatchewan while seemingly having an unwillingness to support pipelines and the oil and gas industry which has taken a tremendous hit in the province.
