The Weyburn man charged with second degree murder on the weekend was in court for his first appearance this (Tuesday) morning..
23 year old Keegan Muxlow was charged after 18 year old Nathan Hutt was killed in what is believed to be a home invasion last Friday night.
Muxlow was the occupant of the home. He is also facing charges of unsafe storage of a firearm, and possession of a gun without a valid licence.
The case was adjourned until January 22 with Muxlow being remanded into custody.
Two others charged, 23-year-old Dominick Hawkes, and 25-year-old William N. McLeod also had their cases adjourned until January 22. Both have been charged with break and enter and committing assault, wearing a disguise during the commission of an offence, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, and possession of a firearm without a valid licence. Hawkes also faces a charge of possession of cocaine.
