The Saskatchewan Roughriders have officially signed Chris Jones to a contract extension.
The new deal will see Jones stay with the team until after the 2020 season.
Jones has led the team since the 2016 season, where the team had a 5-13 record. Last season, the team finished 12-6, and Jones was named the CFL’s Coach of the year.
The team also announced that Assistant Vice-President of Football operations and Administration Jeremy O’Day has signed an extension through the 2020 season.
O’Day is entering his 21st season with the team after playing on the offensive line for the first 12 seasons with the club.
