Monday, January 7 and already I’m at Regina City Hall paying a parking ticket. WHAT!?
Well, so was everyone else from my apartment buiding and probably any area where you require a permit. The cashiers at City Hall earned their pay, thanks to parking enforcement busting all of us that neglected to look at our permits! It appears that a few days grace were given, but I like many residents forgot an important fact ; the renewal date had changed. Street parking dues were January 1 not the end of March as in the past.
The residential parking pass is a great idea that is only a $16.00 investment. It allows you parking in your immediate neighbourhood for a year. Those that work downtown and park in the fringe areas are running out to move their cars every two hours or risk getting tickets. What a pain.
Bonus of downtown living, walking to work and not worrying about tickets. Guess I’m posting in the daytimer #buythepermit Dec 31st.
One Ticket for 2019. #WheelofTickets! Anyone????
