Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made five moves Monday morning, when he shuffled cabinet.
The shuffle comes after Nova Scotia MP Scott Brison abruptly resigned last week.
The moves include Montreal MP David Lametti becoming Canada’s new Justice Minister, Vancouver’s Jody Wilson-Raybould is moving from the high-profile Justice position to Veterans Affairs.
Seamus O’Regan, is moving from Veterans Affairs to Indigenous Services.
Jane Philpott is moving from Indigenous Services to Treasury Board, Brison’s former portfolio.
Bernadette Jordan takes Nova Scotia’s seat at the cabinet table, becoming Minister of Rural Economic Development, which is a new position on the front bench.
