Gunshot fired at car in east Regina

Regina police are investigating after a road-rage incident in the city’s east end where a firearm was discharged.

Police say around 1:20 Tuesday afternoon, police were sent to Dewdney and Cavendish after three men in one vehicle noticed they were being followed by another vehicle. It is alleged the driver of the second vehicle, who was the lone occupant, discharged a firearm which struck the first vehicle.

The three fled to nearby Johnson High School which was placed into a Secure the Building mode for a short time. No one was hurt.

Police are now looking for a vehicle described as a mid 2000’s blue Dodge Neon or similar compact vehicle with the suspect being reported as a man in his early 20’s with a full tattoo sleeve on his left arm and a black bandana on that arm.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
