Cattle producers in Saskatchewan are joining forces with several businesses and Regina restaurants to promote June as beef month.

Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association CEO Ryder Lee says 16 restaurants and bars in Regina have put beef at the top of the list for special menu items.

Lee says beef is featured in special cocktails, appetizers and main courses .

He adds there are also some beefy desserts on the menu.

Lee says participants also include Last Mountain Distillery, Kitchen Hero Spices and Centennial Food Services.

Consumers who taste the special menu items are asked to share their experiences on social media.
