The latest crop report says seeding is 99 percent complete across Saskatchewan.
Provincial crops analyst Cory Jacob says seeding is virtually complete except for a few fields being re-seeded due to frost damage or for green feed.
He says there was little rain this past week and moisture is desperately needed in a wide portion of the Saskatchewan grainbelt.
Jacob says Rocanville had 18 millimeters of rain.
Jacob says topsoil moisture is rated 22 percent adequate, 47 percent short and 31 percent very short.
He says crops are rated poor to good across the grainbelt.
He says the driest area is across central Saskatchewan but reaching further south and north as dry weather continues.
The majority of crop loss during the last week was due to winds, lack of moisture and insects.
