It is hoped cardiac care in Regina will reach a new level of excellence after an agreement between Mosaic and the Hospitals of Regina Foundation.
Mosaic will match every community donation up to one million dollars to support cardiac care at the General meaning every donor dollar will have double the impact.
The campaign will support the purchase of life-saving equipment and technology for the Cath Lab within the Mosaic Heart Centre at the General.
In 2018, one out of every five visits to Regina’s emergency rooms was cardiac-related.
