A Regina boy has successfully completed a life saving bone marrow transplant.
According to a Facebook post, Vonn Chorneyko’s surgery was successful and he “has his hero’s cells in him.”
The boy’s story sparked a massive bone marrow drive last year.
A nine out of 10 match for Chorneyko was found on February 1st.
