Police in Estevan have charged a 34-year-old man with attempted murder after a 25-year-old woman was stabbed Tuesday night.

Officers were called to a home in Estevan’s south end around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, where they found a woman suffering from a stab wound.

She was air lifted to a Regina hospital for further treatment and observation.

No names have been released at this time.

The victim’s current condition is not known.
