Two Regina residents facing charges in connection to stolen vehicle and firearm possession

Regina Police have arrested two people in connection to the theft of a vehicle and the possession of a firearm.

Just after midnight Monday night, police were notified of a vehicle driving erratically near the corner of Victoria Avenue and Park street. Police located the vehicle and observed the two suspects stopping at a business on the 900 block of Arcola Avenue, where police made their arrest.

During the investigation, a .22 calibre revolver was discovered, and it was determined the vehicle was stolen.

36 year-old Jason Sparvier is facing three charges, including possession of stolen property and possession of a firearm. Meanwhile 35 year-old Chelsea Dufresne is facing a possession of stolen property charge.
