Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for the southwest corner of Saskatchewan.

The warning applies for areas surrounding Maple Creek, Shaunavon, Leader and Gull Lake.

The storm the weather office is tracking has the potential for strong winds, hail, and intense rainfall in certain areas.

Environment Canada is advising people in the area to take cover immediately.
