Regina man faces 13 firearm charges after string of incidents in May

A 26 year old Regina man is facing several firearm-related charges after multiple incidents in May.

Regina Police say on May 21st between 10:40pm and about 11:10pm, officers were called to multiple areas of the city for reports of robberies with a firearm and shots being fired.

Police say three of the incidents had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. There was also a grey Ford F-150 reported in a few of the incidents.

RPS says the investigation led to the arrest of 26 year old Donnelly Nanaquatung, who is facing 13 charges including five counts of attempt to commit murder with a firearm.

He made his first court appearance on Wednesday morning.
