Saskatchewan basketball star Micheal Linklater has something in common with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
He’s a Nike-endorsed athlete.
The Thunderchild First Nation basketball player who grew up in Saskatoon is one of the faces behind Nike’s N7 athletic line.
Linklater is also a former U of S Huskie and Canadian basketball international. Currently, he plays for the newly launched Canadian Elite Basketball League’s Saskatchewan Rattlers.
The N7 line contributes to funding for athletic programs in Indigenous communities.
