Regina Police are investigating after a death on the 1300 block of Garnet Street.

Police were called to the home to assist a person in distress early Tuesday morning and found an unresponsive man.

EMS confirmed that the man was deceased on scene.

RPS didn’t find anyone else in the house and secured the scene for the Coroner and Major Crimes.

The identity of the man has been confirmed but his name will not be released pending further investigation.

Police say more investigation will clarify the circumstances of the death and anyone with information is asked to call RPS or Crime Stoppers.
