Regina man facing firearms charges after gunshots heard in North Central

Regina Police have made an arrest in connection to a firearms incident that took place this Wednesday.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Princess Street where a loud banging noise was hear, with a man observed walking away from the area.
Police found the suspect who matched the provided description given to police, and arrested the man. A search of the area revealed a firearm, with ammunition found in the possession of the suspect.
20 year-old Phoenix Sangwais is facing eight charges, including careless use of a firearm and possession of a weapon.
