Regina’s Queen City Ex has major agricultural flair

The Queen city exhibition opens Wednesday in Regina with a major agricultural component.

The Fair’s manager of major events, Chelsea Galloway, says there will be different events for every day of the fair, starting Wednesday.

She says the Queen City Ex has partnered with Agribition to provide daily features.

On Wednesday, the highlight features horses guided through an obstacle course in the Brandt Centre.

Galloway says events on Thursday include alpacas, Friday’s highlight discusses the rodeo and Saturday features a horse and shooting competition.

There’s also an agricultural exhibit area for kids.

She says the signature event is a rodeo in the Brandt Centre Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening beginning at 6:30 pm.
