Regina Police investigating coffee throwing incidents in city’s east end

Regina Police are now investigating incidents where suspects threw coffee at victims in the city’s east end.

The attacks were reported Tuesday after at least one of them were posted to social media.

Police say they believe the attacks are related and are not ruling out race as a factor, as one of the victims was an east-indian man waiting for a bus, while the other was black.

Police say the victims were not injured, but attacks like this can impact a person’s sense of safety and are upsetting to see.
