Saskatoon police investigating robbery at convenience store

Saskatoon police were called out to a convenience store robbery early Monday morning in the west end of the city.

Officers responded to the incident at 2:45 a.m. on the 200 block of Pendygrasse Road.

A man in his mid-twenties wearing a Nintendo DS shirt, dark grey pants and a green bandana entered the store and told staff that he had a gun on him, however no gun was ever shown to workers.

He stole a small amount of items and fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured from the incident.

Police were unable to locate the man and are continuing their investigation.
