RCMP say Highway 6, 20 kilometers north of Regina is closed after a serious two vehicle collision between a semi and SUV.

Police say the truck was hauling gravel when the accident occurred, adding the highway will be closed for the majority of Tuesday afternoon while the investigation unfolds.
There is no word on injuries other than both drivers were taken to hospital.
The public is being asked to avoid the area.
