Former Kamsack Doctor gives up license after improperly prescribing opioids

A Kamsack doctor has agreed to give up his medical licence after getting charged with unprofessional conduct last March.

Doctor Murray Davies was accused of improperly prescribing opioids to patients.

The Saskatchewan College of Physicians and Surgeons says they agreed to not prosecute Davies in exchange for him promising to never practice medicine again.

Davies did not admit to the charges.
