Sixth person charged in Tiki Laverdiere murder

A sixth person has been charged in relation to the murder to Tiki Laverdiere.

The victims remains were found in a rural area outside of North Battleford on July 17th, nearly three months after she traveled from Edmonton to the area for a funeral.

Since then, five people have been arrested and are now facing charges in connection to the murder, with a sixth being arrested Tuesday.

33 year-old Soaring Eagle Whitstone is now facing four charges, including first degree murder and improperly interfering with a human body.

RCMP are still investigating, and are also anticipating more arrests will be made.
