STARS launches new fundraising campaign

Stars Air Ambulance in Saskatchewan needs to start replacing an aging fleet and organizers hope a classic car will bring in over $1 Million.

The Pegasus Project was launched in Saskatoon by the campaign team including Saskatoon-born actor Kim Coates and Brayden Schenn, a member of the Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues.

Vaughn Wyant helped spearhead the concept of auctioning off a custom-built classic car and says the vehicle will be unique.

Wyant describes the vehicle which will cost about 250-thousand dollars to build a classic looking 1968 Ford Mustang 427 Coupe with modern technology.

Sons of Anarchy star Kim Coates says he was quick to join the campaign team when asked because Stars saves lives and says he would love to have the vehicle slated for sale at the Barret-Jackman Auction in January of 2021 in Arizona.

All proceeds will go to Stars Air Ambulance in Saskatchewan.

During the announcement in Saskatoon, a Stars Air Ambulance crew was called out on a mission.
