Melfort RCMP arrest a 23 year-old man for impaired driving incident

A 23 year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after the truck he was driving rolled on a grid road near Kinistino on Saturday night.

Melfort RCMP along with local fire and EMS crews responded to the incident, where the truck heading northbound lost control and rolled. Two of the passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries, while another passenger was airlifted to hospital by STARS air ambulance with serious injuries.

The driver, Creedon DiPaolo of the James Smith First Nation, was treated for minor injuries, and was then arrested by RCMP and charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm. He will appear in court on September 24th.
