How did Team SK do at Day 4 of WCSG

Wet and rainy conditions throughout most of Monday caused a number of event cancellations and delays in Cycling, Softball and Canoe Kayak, but Saskatchewan’s athletes continued to add to the medal haul at the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games. Swimmer CADENCE JOHNS (Moose Jaw) and Canoeist JAYDEN HINGLEY (Saskatoon) continued their domination over their events, adding a gold medal each to their collections. On the team side, both Men’s and Women’s Basketball will contend for gold Tuesday

Tuesday also marks turnaround day. Phase 1 athletes will depart for home, and Phase 2 athletes will arrive in Swift Current — ready to compete in Athletics, Baseball, Diving, Golf, Rowing, Tennis, Triathlon, Male and Female Volleyball, and Wrestling.

TEAM SASK MEDAL COUNT:
GOLD: 16 | SILVER: 16 | BRONZE: 19 | TOTAL: 51
